Easily reached by car within minutes of town, the lookout is a simple stop for photos or a short break, with views toward Mount Langi Ghiran, the Pyrenees Ranges, and parts of the eastern Grampians on clear days.

Mackenzie Falls Lookout

MacKenzie Falls Lookout offers clear views of one of the Grampians’ most powerful waterfalls, flowing year round in the northern section of the park. The lookout is reached via a short, sealed path from the MacKenzie Falls carpark and is suitable for all abilities. Visitors can view the falls from above, with the option to continue down the steep stairway to the base of the falls if desired.

The lookout is reached via a 2.6 km return walk from the Sundial Carpark, taking around 1 to 1.5 hours. The track includes a steady uphill section and uneven surfaces, with sunset being a popular time to visit.

The lookout is reached by sealed road via Mt Victory Road, followed by a short walk from the car park. It’s also the starting point for the 2 km return walk to The Balconies, making it a convenient and popular stop on a Grampians scenic drive.
